Welcome!

Special collector László Krupinszky (1888-1945) antique mocha set, cup small plate with hand-painted turquoise pattern.

Gravure marking krupinszky made in hungary. Not something looks good in the photo, but it can be read well with a magnifying glass.

Cup 0.6 dl, height 3.5 cm, ø 7 cm

Small plate 11.5 cm

There is an old bounce on the plate, a little wear, now a cap inside the cup, but all this does not lose its uniqueness.

A little curiosity:

Majolica and clay industry colony of artists, Hódmezővásárhely (1912-1949)

The workshop was founded in 1912, at the city’s train station in the empty Haida restaurant building. The founding members were mostly members of the Vásárhely artists' colony.

Béla Endre and János Tornyai painter, edo kallós, jános pásztor, sculptor géza rubleczky, józsef smurák architect, and mihály weisz,

The plant faltered during the First World War and then did not operate until 1919.

In the spring of 1927, smuros due to the deterioration of the relationship between Joseph and Charles Barta, Smuros sold their shares and left the factory. Then, until 1930, László Krupinszky became the head of the plant, and then he runs the plant close-up on a branch between 1930-1947.

The colony was regularly featured in exhibitions.

In 1947, János Kiss bought the shares of majolica.

In April 1949, the majolica colony was nationalized.

In 1971, as part of the fine ceramic works, it was attached to the porcelain factory in the Great Plain.
